My sketch up model

Hello everyone, welcome to Max's google sketch up model.

I'm sorry for the delay in posting up, I just do want my work look better.

So, I hope you enjoy it :D

The words I used for this building are: Think, for above ground, Verticle for underground level.

The whole idea of this building is to express the idea of tranparency. This is done by the extensive use of reinforced glass material and the specially designed structure layout. In addition to these, the building it self provide a great visual fest of highly dynamic curves.

Perspectives

Pure beauty

The detail of the front platform, with finely designed texture. it is made of reinforced glasses, allow visitor to ground level and to underground level see each other while moving.

The roof layout of the bulding gives smooth and dynamic curves

The hole left on the stairs have 2 uses: Functioning as a light well, and give transparency between ground level and the stair surface. On the left hand side, is the glass platform leading to level 1 space.

Stair cases

The stair case from ground level to underground level, consist of 3 conponents. each of them is just a simple stair, however when combined together, it produces a unique experience of transaction through spaces. The stair case from ground level to level 1, the stair it self is an exibotion platform, the wall like surfaces on the stairs are acturally the top of supporting columns, each face could be covered with art works. The combined stair case from ground level to underground level, with the galss window on side and the reinforced glass ground level floor, the visitor could see art works from both ground level and underground level while walking on the stairs.
