I am a civil engineering with architecture student, after bathing in concrete mud for the last 3 years, it is refreshing to see some more colorful things in life!
Alright, back to business. Now please allow me to int
roduce my choices for the first 3 images.
Image No.1: Wugu the star surfer
I am a online game player, a member of an in game guild named: The One. It is there where I enjoyed to be a part of a group of lovely people. Using the skill I accumulated through the earlier years, I designed the banner for my guild, and made a lot of artworks for my guild fellows. This image is one of the best from them, for Wugu, the mage leader of our guild back at that time. In this image, I tried to create a strong contrast between different colors and brightness, as well as the feeling that the character
be in motion.
Image No.2: Federation Square, Melbourne
This summer while I was back in China for my civil engineering industrial training, I was lucky enough to get lecture from Donald Bates, the director of LAB studio, a very famous
architecture design studio in Australia, and their most famous work, is the federation square in Melbourne. Before, all I know about this structure was that it is the landmark of Melbourne, but in fact, it is such a magical building: The design of this building allows the energy consumption of it to be reduced by 90%, able to maintain a temperature more than 10 degrees lower than outside during summer, without any electrical air conditioning.
Image No.3: Dolphins
Dolphins always have a smile on th
eir faces, when you see them play together, leaping out of water with a perfect curve, you suddenly had a better understanding about happiness and freedom.
Now, about the 3 artists.
No.1
Mueck: Woman, Think, Huge
No.2:
Malangi: Village, Divide, Abstract
No.3:
Bansky: Road, Climb, Vertical
