The Rejoin of Memories

Welcome to my project for the Altlest of Colours: The Rejoin of Memories, the big party of my pieces of memories.

In this project, I created five caractors, each of which represent one stage of my life time from preschool to university.

The picture on the left is the coverpage of my book, on which lies five of me happily togeter, this picture reflected the title, the five pieces of my memories rejoined.



On the back of the cover page, one of my previous artworks. I put it here because it shows my understanding and preference of colours.
















Home work for week one, using five colours to make a picture showing your colour theme. My colour theme is gray, so I used three degrees of gray, a intenced red plus the colour of lines, black.

On the other side of the back cover, is one of my favorate songs: Duvet, with it's original background.



Another home work, a space from memory with colours. I selected a very nice cafe in my home town, where I often went to with my father.




The navigation of the book is quiet simple: physical lock. The book is structrally designed that, only one piece out of the 5 pieces of book can be picked out from the "whole book".






This is the first piece of my book, Max in university. Gray is the theam colour for this piece, I also did some colour designs for it.







The second piece, Max in primery school. Because at that time, I first started drawing pictures, I used many soft and dream like colours to represent the colourful world in my head.

On one side of it, is my life map. I chossed old westen style for it, and made a secret chamber for it, in which contains my family photo.



The third piece, Max in middle school. Middle school is the time when I become active in study and hoby, it is also when I changed my drawing style. So, I put a lot of art work here to increase the contrast effect and together with a theam of light yellow and orange.

The fourth piece , Max in high school. Chinese high schools are famous for its extream preasure of study to students, which made me silent and worring. Thus, I chossed purple as the theam for this piece.





In this piece, I placed two of my best art works, because their theam colour are also purple.






























































Here comes the last piece of my book, Max as a little one. According to my parents, I was a very nasty trouble maker at that time, and all what they said were proved when I saw some of my early photos by chance, it was really "horroble".
So in order to suit my nauty appearance, I used a lot of mixed colours, and many funny small pictures.



Hand writing home work, I wrote some key words to find the secret chamber in piece 2.



On the other side of the hand writing is the water colour loss drawing.



This piece an also be expanded into a 3D modle.
